Breakfast at the Elks, homemade ice cream in Rippey
Sunday, June 7, will be Good Food Sunday in Greene County.
The Jefferson Elks lodge will serve breakfast from 9 am to noon at the lodge. The spread will include ham and egg casserole and French toast casserole, biscuits and gravy, bacon, fruit, and beverages. Tickets will be available at the door with a reduced rate for children 12 and younger and no charge for children 4 and younger.
Later in the day, from 4 to 7 pm, members of the Rippey United Methodist Church will host an ice cream social at the church. The menu includes homemade ice cream and homemade pie. Life doesn’t get sweeter!
